£500 for one week and £950 for two weeks.

Actual tuition time (minimum): 10 hours a week.

This course is ideal for someone looking for a holiday with a modest element of study. Scheduling of lessons would be flexible so you could have some days free to explore Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely or further afield independently.

Apart from your 2 hours of tuition each day you would be independent on this programme. I would fit my other work around your lessons so I would be unavailable much of the day but would support you with transport and arrangements. Of course we'd meet your bus home and meet at dinner to chat about your day and so practise what you have learned. Friends may join us giving extra opportunities to work on fluency and gain insights into British and other cultures.

You are welcome to spend independent time at the cottage, relaxing in the garden, doing private study and meet up in the evening around 7pm for dinner.

A typical day on the light course might look like this:

8am - Breakfast

9am - 11am - Lessons, planning and preparing your days activities. Understanding directions, asking questions, and pronunciation practise of useful phrases.

11am - 7pm - Independent time.

7pm - Meet up for dinner at Rosemary cottage

7:30 -10pm - Evening meal and social time.

10pm till bed - Independent time (I clear up and start preparing for the following day). You are welcome to stay downstairs and chat/read/watch TV/check your email (If the computer is free) or of course retire to your room when you wish.
